It would have been a reasonable deduction for her to make that if I was worried about elevator noise, then certainly the music would be an issue and could have placed me even just one floor higher and/or not facing the main drag. She said no, but then that evening, my 2nd Floor room echoed with every single solitary note of the loud dance music playing downstairs (not sure if restaurant or club), and it was also a room facing Collins which obviously added to the noise. Upon check in, I specifically asked the concierge if my room was near an elevator because I am a very light sleeper.
